2026 Season Auditions
Applications for 2026 Queensland Ballet Company & Jette Parker Young Artist positions have closed as of July 2025, and all applicants will be notified of the outcome by 1st August 2025.
Successful applicants will receive further information regarding audition details and requirements via email.
As a leading professional ballet company, we invite applications from classically trained dancers with strong technical proficiency and an openness to a diverse repertoire, including contemporary works. Opportunities are available within our Jette Parker Young Artist Program and Pre-Professional Program, with potential consideration for Company positions should vacancies arise in the future.
Auditions are held by invitation only.

Jette Parker Young Artist program
Queensland Ballet’s Jette Parker Young Artist program is an immersive, year-long apprenticeship program for gifted young dancers who are at the start of their professional careers.
Those looking to join the Jette Parker Young Artist program are required to audition alongside those auditioning as Company Artists.
Queensland Ballet Academy auditions
Queensland Ballet Academy is passionate about developing the artists of the future, providing a clear career pathway through intensive training, to produce young ballet dancers whose talent and ability are internationally sought-after.
