Drawing from her recent creation, gundirgan, wise woman, commissioned for Queensland Ballet's 2024 Bespoke season, Katina and Queensland Ballet’s Community and Education team invite you into her world of innovative choreographic process and cultural storytelling.

In this immersive workshop, delve deep into Katina's choreographic process as she intricately weaves her movement and cultural philosophies into the fabric of gundirgan, wise woman. Guided by subject matter within the Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority's Senior Dance Syllabi, Katina will unravel the layers of her collaboration with Queensland Ballet artists, honouring the legacy of an iconic Wakka Wakka woman through contemporary dance.
