Introducing Liam
Australian dancer Liam Geck was born in Brisbane and started dancing at the age of 3 at Kick Dance Studio. His journey with Queensland Ballet started at age 11 with the 2008 International Gala.
A successful audition with the Queensland Ballet Academy saw Liam graduate from their programs into a Pre-Professional year position in 2014. In 2015 he joined the Jette Parker Young Artist Program and was successful in attaining a Company Artist position in 2016. A promotion saw Liam rise to the role of First Company Artist in 2019.

Did you know…
Liam also grew up an avid sailor, swapping the ballet shoes for zinc cream and sailing gloves for an afternoon on the bay. Crafting scones and knitting are now favourite weekend activities.
