Introducing Gina
Gina was born in South Korea and began ballet at the age of 6. She started her ballet training at a local ballet academy, later moving on to Yoo's Ballet Conservatory to focus on classical ballet training, and then to Sejong University.
After competing in the Prix de Lausanne in 2022, Gina won a scholarship to join the Pre Professional Program at Queensland Ballet Academy where she completed two years of training. In 2024, she joined Queensland Ballet as a Young Artist.
Gina loves dancing, music and sharing the joy of performing on the stage.

Did you know...
Gina loves to cook Korean foods when she misses home. She also likes to listen to hip hop music and watch romantic comedy movies.
What advice do you have for aspiring dancers?
"Always be prepared to take any opportunity that comes your way, even if it's unexpected. Most of all, know your strengths and make work on them."
