Howard Harrison

Howard has been nominated 6 times as Best Lighting Designer in the Laurence Olivier Awards and won for his production of City of Angels (Donmar Warehouse) and Macbeth (Gielgud Theatre, Lyceum Theatre, Broadway). 

His West End productions include Mamma Mia! (global), Blithe Spirit (Harold Pinter Theatre), Wind in the Willows (Palladium),  Mary Poppins (Prince Edward Theatre and New Amsterdam Theatre NY), The Importance of Being Earnest (Vauderville Theatre), An Ideal Husband (Vauderville Theatre), Neville’s Island (Duke of Yorks), Guys and Dolls (Piccadilly Theatre),Witches of Eastwick (Drury Lane), Ragtime (Piccadilly Theatre), Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (Lyric Theatre).

His work at The National, The Old Vic, Donmar Warehouse, Stratford East, Menier Chocolate Factory and Chichester Festival Theatre @ soho place includes: As you like it, South Pacific, City of Angels (Olivier award), Earthquakes in London, Private Lives, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, Measure for Measure, The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui, Saint Joan, Anna Christie (Knight of Illumination Award), Tales From Hollywood, Privates on Parade, Shining City, King Hedley, South Pacific, Shadowlands, Mack and Mable, The Truth. 

Dance includesMatthew Bourne’s Nutcracker!, Edward Scissorhands (Sadlers Wells, Uk and US tours), Swan Lake, Romeo and Juliet, Phantom of the Opera (Shanghai Ballet), Stricty Gershwin (Shanghai Ballet and Queensland Ballet Co ENB at the Royal Albert Hall); Hamlet (Shanghai Ballet).
