Amber Mitchell-Knight

Introducing Amber

Born in Perth, Western Australia, Amber began dancing at the age of two. She trained for two years at The National Theatre Ballet School in Melbourne, graduating with a Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Dance. Amber dreams of one day performing the character Giselle because she has always been captured by the subtle changes in acting, the dramatic storyline and the beautiful music.

Who inspires you to dance?

My favourite dancer and biggest inspiration is Marianela Nunez! She always leaves me with my mouth dropped in total awe. Her artistry and quality of movement is so clearly translated through her dancing, and you can see her love and passion for ballet.

Did you know…

Even though I have lived the best part of my life on the Eastern Seaboard, I was born in Western Australia and most of my family still live there. I love to go back and visit when I can.
