Introducing Alisa

Born in Finland but raised in Adelaide, Alisa began ballet at the age of 5 with Vivienne Winter's School of Ballet. In 2020, she moved to Brisbane to join the Queensland Ballet Academy. It was a dream come true to be accepted by the Academy where she was able to immerse herself in an environment of inspiration and professionalism.

Alisa graduated from Level 1 of the Senior Program at Queensland Ballet Academy before joining the Pre-Professional Program in 2021, where she completed a further two years of training. In 2023 she joined the Company as a Young Artist. She was promoted to Company Artist in 2024.

Did you know...

English was Alisa’s favourite subject in school and she especially loved creative writing. In grade 8, she won the Writer’s Award for achieving the highest mark in her year level in the International Competitions and Assessments for Schools.
