Inspire Movement // Build Unique Expression

#Unleash your creativity through dance and storytelling

Inspire Movement // Build Unique Expression (IM//BUE) is a dynamic, intergenerational workshop for active adults who are passionate about dance and eager to unlock their creative potential. Led by renowned guest artist Philip Channells and Queensland Ballet’s Community and Education team, participants in this two-day workshop will embark on a collaborative journey of discovery. Explore new movement styles, devise original choreography, and craft pieces that reflect your personal stories. This program fosters confidence, connection, and the joy of creation in a welcoming and inspiring environment.

This workshop will culminate in an informal presentation in the studio that the participants’ family and friends are invited to attend, to showcase the creative journey they have explored together.

IM//BUE is open to individuals of all ages and abilities who love to dance. A willingness to perform is desirable but not a requirement for this workshop.

To secure your place for this unique workshop, please register by Wednesday 29 January.

We acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which we work and perform. Long before we performed on this land, it played host to the dance expression of our First Peoples. We pay our respects to their Elders — past, present and emerging — and acknowledge the valuable contribution they have made and continue to make to the cultural landscape of this country.
