Introducing Annie

Annie was born and raised in Sydney where she began her dance journey at The McDonald College at age 6. There, she found her love of classical ballet and continued her training at Newtown High School of Performing Arts where she completed her high school certificate. After a year at Tanya Pearson Academy, she was accepted into The Australian Ballet School Level 7 2023 and moved to Melbourne to continue her studies.

While training with The Australian Ballet School, Annie had the honour of working with choreographers Tim Harbour, Stephen Baynes, Lucas Jervis, Paul Knobloch and Darla Hoover. She was also appointed the Pre Professional Bloch Ambassador for 2024.

Annie joined Queensland Ballet's Young Artist Program in 2025.

Outside of the studio, Annie loves to spend quality time with her family and friends, exploring coffee shops and building lego.


What inspires you?

"The shared passion I feel while dancing with the company, as we create special moments. We use music and movement as a way of communicating and understanding one another."

We acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which we work and perform. Long before we performed on this land, it played host to the dance expression of our First Peoples.
