Introducing Declan
Born in Perth, WA, Declan initially started training in fight choreography and gymnastics. He turned his focus to classical ballet, training with Helene Gowers Ballet School and John Curtin College of the Arts. At 15 he moved to Melbourne and joined The Australian Ballet School, graduating in 2024.
Declan joined Queensland Ballet’s Jette Parker Young Artist Program in 2025.

Did you know...
In 2024 Declan represented ABS at Canada's National Ballet School as part of their exchange program, where he got to make his first snow angel.
What advice do you have for aspiring dancers?
"As dancers we can get caught up in it all and feel overwhelmed. Just have fun with it, everyone is different and on their own path. Take the path right for you and enjoy it."
