Lauren Sherlock

Lauren studied at Queensland Dance School of Excellence in Brisbane where she was awarded in 2013 Dance Student of the Year and The Patricia MacDonald Memorial Foundation Award. In 2016 she graduated from Queensland University of Technology with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Dance Performance), completed a Royal Academy of Dance Teacher’s Accreditation, performed in We are Schadenfreude by Richard Causer and The Tipping Point by Yolande Brown at the Beijing Dance Festival in China. In 2017 she also completed a Bachelor of Arts Honours (Dance) at LINK Dance Company in Perth, performed in Ad Infinitum by Michael Whaites and Susan Peacock and Skinless by Carmelo Segura nationally and in France. She also performed in DESIRELINES (2018) by Collusion Music and Dance in China, Repeat (2019) at Robotronica Brisbane and Elektra Festival in Canada, with Phluxus2 Dance Collective and choreographed Quantum Entanglement (2019) and joined Queensland Ballet as a Teaching Artist teaching a variety of community classes.
